All ministers of Holy Communion should show the greatest reverence for the Most Holy Eucharist by their demeanor, their attire, and the manner in which they handle the consecrated bread or wine.

Eucharistic ministers assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass.
Eucharistic ministers may bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound. The prayer service includes an Introductory Rite, the Liturgy of the Word, the Liturgy of Holy Communion, Communion and a Concluding Rite.
